10 Steps To Stay Organised

So this year is my exams and trust me I'm very organised! Ive even got a filofax! So I thought that I would do a post of keeping generally organised.

Don't waste your day in bed
Set an alarm at a reasonable time and get up at that time and be ready to start the day. (Yes I mean on weekends too!!)

Manage your time throughout the day wisely
Set small deadlines to get different tasks to do
For bigger tasks break them down into smaller tasks

Clear the surrounding i.e. your desk
Having a mess is distracting and will take your mind off the task you are doing

Make a To Do list and in order of importance

Keep on top of your tasks
The more your tasks build up the less you will want to do them

Set each weekly task a day
For example I have a revision time table and I have blog posts and tidying my room around that

Keep everything in one place
For example I have all my To Do lists and my revision time table in the same place so I know where everything is

Designate Areas
Yes, I'm one of them people who have stationary draws that are all nicely organised
Even if you just have a pencil pot for pens and all your revision things in one place

Avoid distractions
Don't have the telly on in the background
Put your pone on silent
Have some music on in the background if you have a busy house

Track progress
Tick away at them To Do lists and once everything is ticked off it will be such a relief, trust me you will feel like you have had a productive day

I hoped you like another list post, hopefully it will help you all who are sitting your Exams and what not.

Nial Varnish Perfect For Spring And Summer

I've always loved nail varnish (I have tones!) but I bite my nails so I can only really wear it when I have acrylic nails on which isn't all that often. But if I did have long nails these are my favourite nail varnishes that would look perfect for summer and spring.

These two nail varnishes came in a set of three pastel colours and don't actually have names which is really disappointing because I got them last year.

Purple - 702 Marshmallow Heaven
Blue - 542 Too Cool To Tango
Coral - 502 Hot Tropicana
The coral is defiantly my favourite! It looks amazing on toes.

These have no names on them which I was really surprised about? I thought all nail varnish had a name to be honest or is it just Rimmel?

Once again I can't find a name on these at all!! I'm sorry this post doesn't really help! I probably should of had a look see what had names and what didn't before I done these pictures.

P.s I'm too lazy to redo this :3 I'm already redoing a tutorial post because the lighting was the worst!!

A Day In The Life

Armed with a good cuppa tea and May's ELLE I was ready for a nice relaxing Sunday.

I started off by waking up at 9:30-ish, not so much a sleep in. So I thought great I can lay in bed and watch some Vampire Diaries, then get up and read my magazine that came last Monday and I still haven't had the chance to read it. Like that was ever gonna happen! I was told that I needed to get up as we were going to ASDA. Food shopping on a Sunday!! What? Reluctantly I rolled out of bed struggling to get a pair of skinny jeans on in my half-asleep state. Thankfully I get them on with only a minor injury... I banged my toe on the bed frame. Once I was dressed it was time to go as I was holding my Mam up because I was taking so long -.- So I walked round ASDA not looking my best and starving. It was the worst food shopping experience ever... Trust me!

After Asda I thought now I can have a chill out and read my magazine but no, I forgot I was supposed to look for hairdresser and their price lists to get this fringe cut in. That took me 2 hours!

In between then and now I've tidied my room, had dinner, revised, attempted a CV and STILL not read my magazine. Other then reading my magazine the only other thing I haven't done is posted so I thought why not do a surprise post and make it long, ramble-y  I mean chatty and hopefully not so boring :3

Next post is Monday and its going to be Top 10 Free Books On The Amazon Book Store.
Shoutout to all the nerds.

Girl Talk: Making Hard Decisions

I'm sorry I've abandoned this blog yet again but school has been so crazy! My teacher has been coming during the Easter Holidays so I only got the Easter Weekend off!

So to make it up to you I thought I would do another Girl Talk post seen as though you all seem to like them. Lets get on with it shall we.

Most choices can be hard depending on who you are. Deciding what you want for lunch could be seen as a tough choice for you. Lets be serious though, choosing your food isn't the hardest decision and it isn't going to affect your life depending on what you choose. Maybe choosing what you want to take for your GCSE's is a hard choice or what you want to do at college. My hardest decision had to be deciding what college I wanted to go to.

I had gone through so many professions I was sure I was going to end up becoming at least one of them. An accountant, I liked maths and it paid really well. An engineer, I now didn't want a sit down behind a desk job. An interior designer, I loved textiles but didn't want to limit myself. I can't tell you how many more there is and how many times I went round in circles deciding what was going to be best for me.

At the minute I'm going to an art college to do photography. So no I didn't end up choosing any of the ones I'd fussed over for months, its not even close to any of the. Although i'm doing photography right now I'm considering going into teaching, not a classroom teacher but a teacher that goes to peoples homes. A home tutor. So right now I'm going to carry on doing photography in uni (fingers crossed I enjoy it) and then do a teaching certificate so that I can then teach. But I never know, that can always change.

When making a hard decision I always find that it is best to ask people hat they think, a friend or a family member. Sometimes you can be blinded by how good a job or college course looks on the internet. When you see their opinion  it will help you decide what is right and wrong for you. Whatever you do DON'T just do something because you think that it will make someone else happy. If you believe that what their saying is wrong then just listen but go ahead and do what you think is right. You are asking these people for advice and an opinion, not for them to make that decision for you.

Yes its been such a looooong time but I'm hopefully back! I will be updating 2 to 3 times a week, school has just been crazy and its my exams this year. I stopped for a few weeks because blogging was becoming to feel like a chore and I didn't want it to feel like that, I really enjoy blogging so now I'm on top of my school work I can begin to enjoy it again.

Still in love with this!

Goals For The Month

So its the first of April, I'm sure March started just a couple of days ago! We're finally out of the rainy and cold weather... Well hopefully, you can never tell with good old British weather.

So this is my first time ever doing a monthly goal type of thing but I'm armed with a cute notebook, my felt tips, glue gun and some old magazines so here goes!

Save money by not buying anymore make up or nail varnish, I have far too many nail varnishes and make-up wise I have enough to be going on with. I need no more and I need to save money, hopefully  I'm going to be getting a job over the summer so I will have some more money in my pocket.

I'm going to be trying my hardest to keep on top of my skin routine as I've been soooo lazy with it this month and my face is covered in face monsters! So this month I need to get back on track with it and get rid of these face monsters.

Ive been trying to eat a lot more healthy and its kinda working so I want to keep that going and hopefully loose some more weight. Ive lost a stone so far and want to lose some more so I have a better figure ready for college and summer.

I know I only have three goals but lets be honest I'm not the best at keeping on track with deadlines and stuff so I'm just going to keep it short so I have more chance of actually sticking to it.

Song Of The Day:
I heard this on Monday when I was writing this post and fell in love!
